By Way Of Exhibition
As the exhibition designer for this show, my collaboration with the curator was key to bringing her vision to life. Group exhibitions always pose a unique challenge; they demand a strong design to weave disparate elements together seamlessly, ensuring continuity and flow throughout the space.
Working within the constraints of a limited budget and unconventional spaces required us to think creatively and devise clever solutions to ensure that the artworks not only fit within the space but also related to each other in a meaningful way. The challenge was about more than just arranging pieces; it was about crafting an immersive experience that resonated with visitors on a spatial level.
Mockup studies in galleries
Through a series of in-depth design studies, both digitally and within the physical gallery space, we embarked on a journey to find the perfect arrangement for displaying the artworks. This hands-on approach allowed us to truly experience how the pieces interacted with each other and the surrounding environment. By immersing ourselves in the galleries, we gained valuable insights into how to optimize the layout to showcase each artwork while also fostering meaningful connections between them.
This iterative process of trial and error led us to discover the optimal solution, ensuring that the exhibition not only looked visually stunning but also provided a cohesive and immersive experience for visitors
